Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect on tourliv.ca, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
It applies to the website and to the TourLiv rental building at 202 Papineau Street, in the Hull sector of Gatineau. It does not apply to third party websites we may link to.
Who is responsible for your information
The responsible company is Rizzo Capital inc.
Under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, Rizzo Capital inc. acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information. You can reach us about this at info@tourliv.ca.
The information we collect
When you fill out the request form
The form collects your first name, last name, email address and phone number. It also collects, when you choose to provide them, your move in timeline, the size of apartment you are looking for, your interest in indoor parking or a storage locker, your message, and the language you would like to be contacted in.
We also record the address of the page you wrote from, and the advertising campaign that brought you to the site when that information is present in the address.
When you browse the site
We measure site traffic. Some of these measurements use cookies and are only triggered after you consent. Others work without cookies and without identifying anyone.
Each cookie, its duration and its purpose are listed in our cookie policy.
Why we collect it
- Answer your rental request and call you back
- Arrange a visit and follow up with you
- Send you information about available apartments, prices and conditions
- Understand which ads and which pages generate requests, so we can adjust our advertising
- Meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your information. We do not use it to make an automated decision about you.
Your consent
You consent to the collection when you complete the form and check the authorization box. This consent is freely given and you may withdraw it at any time by writing to info@tourliv.ca. Withdrawal does not apply to processing already carried out before your request.
For measurement and advertising cookies, your consent is requested by the banner when you arrive on the site. Until you accept, those cookies are not placed. You can change your choice at any time through the consent management link at the bottom of every page.
Who we share it with
Your information is accessible to the people at Rizzo Capital inc., to its leasing team and to its agents who need it to answer your request.
We also use technology providers who process information on our behalf, and only according to our instructions.

Disclosure outside Quebec. Several of these providers process information outside Quebec, mainly in the United States. Before entrusting them with information, we assess the protection they offer and we frame the transfer by contract. The laws of the country where these providers operate may allow authorities to access that information in certain circumstances.
We may also disclose your information when required by law, or to assert our rights.
How long we keep it

After those periods, the information is destroyed or anonymized.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it to do their work. Exchanges between your browser and the site are encrypted. The tools where your information is stored are protected by individual accounts.
No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we would inform you and notify the Commission d’accès à l’information, as the law requires.
Your rights
- Access. Know what information we hold about you and obtain a copy
- Correction. Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
- Withdrawal of consent. Ask us to stop using your information
- Deletion. Ask for your information to be destroyed when we no longer have a reason to keep it
- Portability. Receive the information you provided to us in a common technological format
Write to info@tourliv.ca. We answer within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Changes
We may change this policy. The effective date at the top of the page indicates the current version. If a change is significant, we will inform the people concerned.
